Pressure signal measurement is a common measure technology in industrial automation control, and pressure transmitter is a common pressure signal measurement equipment . According to the application situation, measurement range, precision requirements, application cost and other factors, the types of sensor elements selected are different.

PPM-T293E 1502 Hammer Union Transmitters are pressure transmitters designed specifically for oil field service applications. Depending on the model, these transmitters provide either a 4-20 mA , 0-5 VDC or 3 mV/V signal output proportional to pressure. The hammer union pressure connection and low profile design make it ideal for use at the well site. In particular, it is used in fracturing and cementing vehicles for high pressure measurement.

Connectors:
1. 4 pin connectors: A pin - power supply (red), B-pin - signal (black), C/D- calibration wire
2. 6 pin connectors: A-pin - power supply (red), B-pin - signal (black), C/ D-No connection, E/F- calibration

3. Direct outlet wire: red - power supply, black - signal, green/white - calibration wire installation

Requirments & cautions 

Oil nonyl installtion form 

1. Choose easy to operate and maintain the site for installation.
2. As far as possible away from the vibration source of heat installation.
3. To comply with CE requirements for electromagnetic compatibility, the transmitter case must be earthed by the ground lug at the connector.
4. When installing the unit to the pressure connection, care should be taken to avoid direct hits to the unit.
5. It is recommended that the connector cover be placed on the product's connector after each use.Simple cleaning and removal of foreign material in the connector will increase the life and operation ofthe product..
6. Once the pruductor installed, check for leaks and adjust as necessary.
7. User does not need any adjustment can run, the transmitter before operation, please strict inspection after installation, electrical connection correct, again, turning on the power supply in operation.
8. It starts working just by turning on the power supply in the transmitter, but warm up 30 minutes after the output signal is stable and reliable.

Field calibration

The PPM-T293 1502 Hammer Union Transmitters are provided with a unique feature which permits field calibration to be performed by electronically simulating pressure. Powering the calibration terminals or connecting  the calibration terminals produces a signal output equivalent to approximately 100% of full scale pressure. This can be used to adjust the gain on the user's meter or data acquisition equipment. The transmitter should be connected as shown below.
