What is an explosion-proof pressure sensor?
Explosion-proof pressure sensor is a kind of sensor that requires relatively high safety performance. Its working principle is basically the same as that of ordinary pressure sensors. The pressure of the measured medium is transmitted to the explosion-proof transmitter through the connecting section. Due to the pressure of the components of the measuring head, the capacitance changes with the change of the pressure. The changing capacitance output by the measuring head is transmitted to the oscillator of the oscillation plate, and the oscillator changes the oscillation frequency according to the changing capacitance. The changed oscillation frequency signal is output by integrated operational amplification and detection to output a half-wave signal with a small oscillation frequency, and this signal is sent to Smart microprocessor. It has the characteristics of reliable working performance and high explosion-proof level. Explosion-proof pressure sensors are most used on equipment that measures gases and liquids.

- Generally, the measured medium is not allowed to freeze, otherwise it will damage the element isolation diaphragm and cause damage to the sensor. If it is in a low temperature environment, an explosion-proof pressure sensor is required, and must be subject to low temperature resistant technical treatment.
- It should be installed as far as possible in a place with little temperature gradient and humidity change, no shock and no vibration
- Different environments need to pay attention to different problems, and the specific problems depend on the site environment
