Cryogenic energy storage solution
Development requires energy consumption, but at the same time, it is also necessary to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, which puts more stringent requirements on my country's energy consumption. A currently technically mature solution is low-temperature liquid nitrogen energy storage for power generation. Its technical principle is as follows:
First, use renewable wind and solar energy to cool the air to -196℃, liquefy nitrogen, and store it in a cryogenic tank in liquid form;
Second, the liquid nitrogen is vaporized to restore the gas form, and the energy released in this process is used to drive the turbine to generate stable electricity;
Third, the generated electric energy can be transported outward through liquid nitrogen superconducting transmission lines, further reducing electric energy loss
