Background
Cryogenic propellant is the propellant that cannot be stored under the ambient temperature of ground and space use, and can remain liquid in the tank for a long time only under extremely low ambient temperature. It is a kind of propellant that cannot be stored. Liquid fluorine, liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen are cryogenic propellants. The liquid propellant with the highest specific impulse used in the liquid oxygen ,and liquid hydrogen propellant combination is widely used in large carrier rockets and aerospace vehicles.
Rocket oxyhydrogen engine is a thermal fluid power system composed of pipelines connecting valves, turbopumps, thrust chambers and other components. Liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen are also a group of liquid rocket propellants with the highest specific impulse today. The specific impulse of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen is 30% - 40% higher than that of propellant at room temperature.
Ground test is an important part of engine development. Propellant supply system plays a vital role in the test, so a large number of cryogenic system technologies are integrated. Cryogenic pressure transmitter is often called Cryogenic pressure pressure sensor in daily life. It plays a vital role in the whole system in combination with other sensors.
Cryogenic propellant supply system for rocket engine test
Propellant supply system is the general name of the system and all equipment that provide propellant for the engine in the test. Including liquid hydrogen supply system and liquid oxygen supply system. With the development of heavy launch vehicles, the propellant supply system has solved a lot of technical difficulties such as large storage tanks for liquid hydrogen storage, long-distance liquid hydrogen transportation, filling, metering, heat preservation, low-temperature leakage, valve control and truncation.
Composition of liquid hydrogen supply system
The liquid hydrogen supply system is composed of corresponding control equipment (relay, pressure transmitter, pressurization regulating device, etc.), valves, main pipelines, compensators, drainage, filters, flow meters, liquid hydrogen storage tanks, exhaust pipe meter evacuation system, etc. The command system carries out the above equipment through the corresponding control program according to the test circulation, so that the system becomes a mailing whole that can be remotely controlled.

Rocket engine test propellant supply system integrates technologies such as hydrogen production liquefaction, liquid hydrogen village eating, liquid hydrogen transportation, liquid hydrogen pipeline transportation, liquid hydrogen low temperature measurement and control, low temperature throttling and cutoff, safety and environmental protection. Among them, liquid hydrogen storage tank storage and supply technology and liquid hydrogen pipeline transportation technology are typical low temperature technology application processes.
