Background

As the field of oil and gas exploration and development continues to expand to deep land, harsh environments and deep ocean waters, ultra-deep and ultra-deep well drilling rigs have become hot spots for research and development in various countries. The approximate well depth of the oil-rich region in the Middle East is -1000 meters, and 80% of the world's oil is concentrated in the -2000-meter Melaleuca. -6000m~-9000m belong to ultra-deep wells, and downhole drilling to -9000m means that the country's deep drilling capacity is already in the world's first echelon.

 

Ultra-deep bottom layers, high temperature, high pressure, hard rock, unpredictable geological conditions, and many insurmountable problems such as drilling rig power transmission during drilling make ultra-deep well drilling rigs recognized in the world as the products with the highest comprehensive performance requirements and the most difficult to manufacture one. With the continuous increase of the well depth in the application of drilling rigs, its mining difficulty increases exponentially.

 

Completely different from other basins in the world in terms of geological conditions, the Tarim Basin has undergone eight stages of structural deformation, and oil and gas reservoirs are generally characterized by ultra-deep, high temperature, high pressure, high sulfur content, and high wax content. 74.9% of the total reserves, the exploration and development is extremely difficult.

More than 80% of the country's ultra-deep wells are distributed in Tarim, the largest onshore petroliferous basin in my country. With extraordinary perseverance, innovative theory, superb technology, and advanced equipment, Tarim Petroleum people have drilled down 41 ultra-deep wells with a vertical depth of more than 8,000 meters. Drilling equipment, drilling tools and drilling fluids are all domestically produced.

High range 1502 pressure transducer

The mud pressure for ultra-deep well drilling is generally above 140Mpa. The pressure sensor continuously measures the pressure or flow of the drilling fluid, and adjusts the mixture or pressure level in time to keep the rig running and prevent rig damage or equipment failure . PPM-T293A is a union pressure sensor with easy installation, process connection with flush diaphragm, and all-stainless steel one-piece structure to ensure that the impact of hard particles in the measured medium will not count against the sensor diaphragm. It is especially suitable for fluid pressure measurement of high temperature viscous and easily blocked slurry, strong vibration in the field, and solid-liquid mixing.
